Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Art Gallery – Wounded and Tender: Studies in Courage and Compassion – On exhibit from July 18th through September 7th - Artist Colleen Cullerton Dunkel seeks to honor heroes who inspire this collection of abstract paintings and portraits. Many of the heroes are anonymous. Some are in professions that call for a certain level of valor. Others are victims who refuse to be beaten down by their circumstances. All risk being wounded by opening their hearts to tenderness. The works include portraits of and paintings by Kim Thornborough and Steve Champine, area artists willing to share their unique experiences facing life’s struggles and encouraging others at the same time.
The NWTC Art Gallery is located in the Library in the Student Center on the Green Bay campus. For Art Gallery hours, please go to http://www.nwtc.edu/library.
